Astrology as a whole is strongly dependent on knowing your exact birth time, and often readings, charts, or maps that feel “off” are due to an incorrect birth time.

Even a difference of 5 minutes in birth time can throw things off in astrocartography or locational astrology, so I ask that you please consult the most reliable source available to you (typically, locating an original birth certificate or birth record) before you book a reading.

Do not rely on your parents’ memories if you have other sources available to you! (I learned this the hard way—my actual birth time recorded was 5 WHOLE HOURS later than the story I’d always heard about my birth, and it shifted my entire birth chart and many of my placements).

In the USA, you’re usually able to get this information from your state’s vital records department (or they’ll be able to point you in the right direction).

In some cases, they’ll give it to you over the phone for free, in others you may have to request it formally and pay a small fee.

You may also be able to request the information from your hospital of birth if you were born at a hospital.

If you have absolutely no way of knowing exactly when you were born, I recommend finding an astrologer who offers rectification services.

Birth time changes are not permitted after booking, so please only book a reading once you have a verified or rectified birth time.

It’s not required, but it’s strongly suggested—you’ll have a lot more context for your astro map if you do!

No shame, we all do! However, for most mere mortals (and even most Olympians), there is no one perfect place.

We’re here making our way through our natal promise, and there will always be some dynamic, unpreferable, or challenging aspects to any location at any given point in time.

The idea behind locational astrology (for most people, anyway) is to find a place to go or live that’s not actively making it harder for you at a baseline level.

To do that, we need to know what matters most (and therefore least) to you!

To help narrow it down: figure out what’s absolutely non-negotiable to you, and work backwards from there.

I believe in you!

Timing is an essential piece of the equation (it’s impossible to escape here on earth), but over time I’ve come to accept that it just won’t fit in the foundational astrocartography reading!

I want to do timing justice, so I offer it as an add-on.

This also makes learning your foundational map more accessible—those energies are always there for you.

That said, timing adds an additional overlay of transits and progressions that can significantly change the vibe of a place from one visit to the next.

So, it’s up to you! If you have no trips or moves planned, you probably don’t need timing right now.

You will have the opportunity to record the reading if you wish!

If you request that I record on my end and send it to you, please note that recordings are automatically deleted 30 days after.

Reschedules are available if you contact me over 72 hours prior to your scheduled reading.

I understand that life happens—if you don’t show up to your scheduled reading due to a catastrophic event, I offer one opportunity to reschedule.
